According to a popular news channel, this firm has managed to produce 10 full-sized, detached single-story houses in just one day with the help of 3-D printing. This sure would act as a solution to the housing crunch that millions of people are facing. The designer hopes that very soon this printer will be used to build sky scrapers. Winsun is a Chinese based company, which uses used four 10m x 6.6m printers which build walls by spraying a mixture of cement and construction waste. As per a reliable source, the 3-D printers are not capable enough to manage the task of applying roofs, so this part still has to be done through a manual process. This company is putting its heart and soul towards improving the housing conditions of the not so developed areas in China. The effort of this company would definitely be providing a lot of moral support to the under privileged sections of the society.
