Poaching is a deadly crime against innocent animals which we humans need to curb at the earliest. Poachers may also slay species that are in danger of extinction or use illegal weapons. These sadistic human beings destroy our wildlife and on many occasions they have personal motives in mind. They should be punished and their deeds should not be taken lightly at all. As per a reliable source, Rhinos, Elephants, and other types of African wildlife may wipe out if this horrendous practice continues. 97.6% of black Rhinos have been lost since the year 1960. It is high time we take action against these heartless beings before our wildlife will become a history for our future generations. ‘Veterans Empowered To Protect African Wildlife’ (VETPAW) is a non-profit association which has decided to stand up against poaching and protect the African wild life. A US Army veteran, Kinessa Johnson, has recently joined this group and she is undoubtedly putting in her best, her four year struggle in Afghanistan is being put into use. Towards the end of March, she along with her expert team were on a new assignment. Before leaving for her new task she said, “We’re going over there to do some anti-poaching, kill some bad guys, and do some good.” This brave lady loves animals and protecting them is something that touches her soul. Africa has the highest rate of illegal killing of animals and hence she decided to render her services and skills for this place. Do watch this video and it is then you will realize the real power of this woman of substance.
